Did you ever wonder why there is such confusion in the religious world today, and especially within what is called "Christianity?"  The purpose of this series of articles will be to provide insight into just what it is that causes this confusion.  They will help to avoid confusion and determine how these problems can be solved by identifying whether a doctrine is of God or of men.

These are the articles that have been developed so far:

The Bible's Second Purpose -- Written in response to atheists who claim that reading the Bible made them atheists.  Question: did you ever consider that that is what it was designed to do?

Why So Many Will Not Obey -- Explore the reasons that Jesus said in Matthew 22:14: "For many are called, but few chosen."  And again in Matt 7:13-14: "Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.  For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it."

Hasty Generalizations -- This article presents some examples that come about by creating doctrines that are not inclusive of all that the New Testament teaches.  Among them are the doctrines of Calvinism and several other popular false doctrines that many take for granted today.

Language of Ashdod -- What happens when the general population is using religious words that have quite different meanings from the meanings that they have in the New Testament.  The problem transcends communication barriers and involves even our ability to conceptualize spiritual concepts (1 Corinthians 2).

The Insertion of the Only Word -- The bible teaches that we are saved by many different things, some requiring our part and some already provided by God.  Are we free to take just one of the conditions of salvation and insert the word "only" after it thus rejecting what the rest of God's word has to say about it?

What are the conditions of salvation given by Jesus?
